Maxwell Circuits Factory Management organization ensures continuity of product quality throughout the supply chain. The Factory Management team consists of 5 specialists based mainly in China, working with the Category Manager based in Shanghai. The team are responsible for managing and developing our factory portfolio in line with market needs and Maxwell Circuits standards.

Close collaboration with the factory is the key

Our strategy is to be on the spot and work directly and closely with the factories. Our Factory Supervisors are directly responsible for each factory’s performance as well as for building relationships and acting proactively and reactively. The Logistics team follows purchase orders and deliveries from the factories on a daily basis and provides feedback to the factory and the Maxwell Circuits. Our QA Team performs audits/mini-audits, working proactively on quality performance. We compile complaints and delivery statistics, and resolve problems through resolute action, immediately visiting the factories if necessary. All factories have been set clear targets through our KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Rapid problem solving and early warnings

A key element of factory management is rapid problem solving if and when deviations occur. Technicians and/or Quality Engineers can be on site in the factories at short notice in order to find the root problem and quickly resolve it. This also applies with regard to rapid implementation of specific customer requirements or issues relating to specific projects. In the event of delays, we can expedite a special delivery where needed, or assign to an alternative factory if required. Frequent progress updates are shared with our customers. Our own staff are responsible for each factory and our aim is to have a presence at all our main factories.

Factory Management organization

Maxwell Circuits has a highly decentralized organization. Customers have direct contact to locally based decision makers which enables efficient and accurate customer support. The factory management team are based near or at the factories, are fluent in local languages, dialects and are also English speaking. All Maxwell Circuits companies are linked with a common Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) with common processes.

Has overall responsibility for his/her factories
Handles relationship, collaboration and status issues with the factory
Implements contracts/agreements
Handles quality complaints issues with the factory
Carries out preventive actions (mini audits, etc.) according to the factory’s quality improvement plan
Takes corrective measures by following-up annual audits, quality complaints and mini audits
Coordinates monthly/bi-monthly factory management meetings


Review 8D report/CAR of quality complaint
Quality trends on complaints/processes/outgoing shipments in the factory
Review and update PSL and UL in the factory
Monthly review of quality status, actions and results in the factory with the Factory Supervisor.
Focus on improving performance within Quality Assurance, (QIP, Quality Improvement Plan)
